WEDDING INVESTMENTS

Because ‘packages’ just doesn’t sound right.

When all is said and done, pictures are often all we have left which is why I think it’s super important to invest in documenting your wedding day, don’t just hire a photographer. I’d love to chat more with you about my style and approach, explain all the details of your investment as well as share what I believe sets me apart and why I price myself the way I do. Before we chat, you can take a peek at everything you need to know in the meantime with my Wedding Investment Guide, click below!

FAQ’S

Because we all have questions.

How long have you been a Photographer?
I’ve been shooting since I was a little kid, taking it more seriously in my early 20’s. I shot my first wedding when I was 24 years old for a friend’s sister in their family backyard.

How do you integrate your background in Psychology into your Photography work?
I think my background gives me a unique approach to humans in general when I shoot. I look for the visual representations of the human condition; love, joy, sadness and so much more. I find the commonalities between myself and my subjects to quickly forge connections that feel comfortable and allow me to freely capture you and your loved one’s exactly as you are.

What is a documentary wedding?
Glad you asked! A documentary wedding is for humans who love the idea of their day being full of music, love, art, tradition, food and family. My goal on the day is to become fully immersed in what's going on around me so that I can quietly capture all the small moments that piece together the larger picture. Simply put, I tell your story. A story without hour long breaks and bridal party portrait sessions that let's be honest, can often make the day feel like a paid job, over a celebration.
Will there be a second shooter?
Depending on the size and scale of the wedding I do like to utilize the help of a second shooter, however, I am also comfortable solo shooting and can discuss concerns and cost.

How does your payment schedule work?
I require 50% to secure your booking with me and the remaining 50% is to be paid on the date of the wedding. Images will be delivered within 6 weeks of wedding date.

What kind of gear do you use?
Canon for life! Kidding...not kidding. I use a Canon 1DX ii and my favourite lens is probably a tie between a 35mm and an 85mm Sigma Art. I also use a 70-200 Sigma Art and Canon 50mm in my arsenal. I also love to shoot film and polaroids.
Do you do Videography?
I have partnered with Videographer, Ben Bonsu, to create investments that include documenting your wedding as a short film. Please see the investment guide for more details.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Yes! Typically on a wedding day I shoot for around 8 to 10 hours and begin 30 min before the getting ready part ends and shoot until about 30 min after dancing shoes hit the floor. Extra time is discussed in advance and can be added for a cost.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No! I provide an online gallery of web size images for 30 days as well as a USB of high res images to be mailed later. Prints though? Yes! I am one hundred percent able to help you create a photo album, give you tips on the most cost effective and best quality places to get your prints done etc.
Where are you based out of and do you shoot destination weddings?
I am based out of Brampton, just outside of Toronto and LOVE to travel.
Discounts may be available for couples traveling to the following destinations: Mexico, Croatia, Spain, Indonesia and South Africa.
